Changing Views Over time
I've played GuildWars during the early beta events to present (and took a short break twice). I have over time, as I learned new things, tried stuff, rolled with changes altered my views and wondering if other people do the same.
Runners, at 1st I felt that running was bad and you should experience the game. Now that I'm on my 2nd permanent character (4th one to use in pve). I understand why and feel it's completely ok now (less being "uber" in lvl 10 areans).
Farming, this is my most current shift. I had nothing against the farmers but the have vs have not did bother me a little, I knew of the collectors after a time and it did feel good when "nerfs" were applied.
Now I working on a farming monk. Not to be rich but for the purpose but to get the things I want that I could not get. I want to unlock skills but at 1k cap was pricey, now I can go forward with getting skills, getting ton of skill points, and I do want to die my armor black. Thinking of using my monk to unlock all the jobs I don't want to play.
Anet has done a great job at allowing to allow people to play they want to play (even with the for / against / middle yelling at each other).
Other changes but have not changed view greatly
-Aoe Change (and I only played fire ele before - it showed me hay monk is cool)
-Skill Changes (there needed as things come up - will see a lot of changes on the sole merit of the effect of c2 skills and not factors due to c1 in the future)
Wondering how many other have felt this way, the more they played, tried different things. For the most part I'm not vocal on much anything.
